Introduce a kid to fishing Take a kid fishing and hook them for a lifetime! Join us for the twelfth annual Introduce a Kid to Fishing day where you'll not only fish, but will also learn about water safety, fish habitat, fishing equipment and more.
Fishing will take place on the bank of a pond and all equipment is supplied and may be taken home after the program.
An experienced and knowledgeable Sportsmen's Club member will pair up with you to assist and teach you all the secrets of great fishing!
A parent or guardian is required for each student and is encouraged to participate with their child. No fishing license is required for youth or adults on this day.
Wear shoes that can get wet. Children must be first timers to this program. Dinner will be provided at 5:00 pm and the program begins at 6:00 PM. Call Melissa Bernard at 507-664-3502 or Larry Larson at 612-298-9268 with questions.
